Terms and Conditions
Last updated: November 4, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Islamocity Online Institute of Learning ("Islamocity", "we", "us", "our"). By visiting this website, submitting a form, booking a free trial, enrolling in a course or applying to teach with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
We provide live, one-to-one online Quran and Islamic education, including Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, Tajweed, Hifz (memorisation), Arabic letters and vocabulary, and Islamic Studies for children and adults. Lessons take place by video call on a suitable online platform chosen by us and the learner.
3. Free Trial
New learners may book a free trial lesson to meet a teacher and check that our teaching style suits them. A free trial carries no obligation to continue. We may limit free trials to one per learner or household.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees are shown on our Fee Plans page and may differ by plan and currency. Where card payment is offered, it is completed on a secure page operated by an authorised third-party payment provider. We do not see, collect or store your full card number. Where bank transfer or a mobile wallet is offered, the details are shown on our Payment Options page. Fees are due in advance for each billing period unless we agree otherwise in writing. If a payment is overdue, we may pause lessons until it is settled.
5. Scheduling and Attendance
Lesson times are agreed between the learner (or parent or guardian) and the teacher. Please join on time and tell us as early as you can if you need to change a lesson. Repeated late cancellations or missed lessons without notice may affect your reserved time slot.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may stop your plan at any time before the next billing date. Lessons already delivered are not refundable. If a lesson is missed because of a problem on our side, we will arrange a make-up lesson. If you have a concern about fees or your first month, please contact us and we will review it fairly and promptly.
7. Code of Conduct
We expect respectful behaviour from everyone. Learners, parents and teachers must not abuse, harass or threaten each other. We may pause or end lessons if conduct is unacceptable.
8. Recording and Privacy of Lessons
Lessons must not be recorded, photographed or shared without the permission of everyone involved. Parents and guardians of younger learners are welcome, and encouraged, to be present nearby during lessons.
9. Child Safety
Lessons are delivered one-to-one and teachers are expected to behave professionally at all times. If you have any concern about a lesson or a teacher, please contact us straight away so that we can look into it.
10. Teacher Applicants
People who apply to teach with us must provide accurate information about their identity, qualifications and experience. False or misleading information will lead to rejection or removal. Acceptance as a teacher does not guarantee a fixed number of learners or a fixed income.
11. Intellectual Property
The text, design, logo and materials on this website belong to Islamocity or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
12. Results and Limitation of Liability
Progress depends on regular practice, attendance and individual ability, so we cannot promise specific results or timelines. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be excluded.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Islamocity is registered, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
